How hard is it to take a picture of a 2 year old?

It's apparently very difficult to take a picture of a 2 year old. First comes the attitude:

I did get one fairly good shot, but I took her by surprise:



And finally she just gave up and hid her face:



Most kids I know will automatically pose every time they see a camera, so I don't know what was up with her because she is not shy. She loves me. She was just being a terrible 2 that day.
