grumpy kid who I later found out has an ear infection AND a sinus infection.
Very grumpy kid who didn't want to take a nap but insisted on watching TeleTubbies...for the 3000th time. Which she didn't get to do. Although I think this was at lunch time while we were waiting on the hamburgers to get done. I don't know, after so long the episodes all just run together.
There were some happy moments though and I am grateful for them:
And at the end of the day...
It was book club night and we had some very delicious food, a very good discussion, and a very good time. The book: The Idiot Girls Action Adventure Guide. The menu: calzones (thank you both Q and J!), and PIE! (thank you Karen!) Key Lime and Strawberry something (I brought that so I have permission to not remember the name!)
When it was time to leave I volunteered with much protesting (yeah right) to take the key lime pie home. I have to admit that the strawberry pie wasn't very good so sorry Sarah Lee. I got the pie home and picked it up to get out of the car...and dropped the whole stinking thing on the ground!!! and all over myself. I almost cried. So fortunately my mother was there to document the whole thing which I now pass along to you.
I tried to catch it with my whole arm.
YUM! Gravel pie anyone?
Can you hear me now? Oh, wait let me remove the graham cracker crust! How about now?
Yeah, so in the words of my great and wise friend Quezal, that's what I get for being so dang greedy!
